We stayed in The Dairy which is spacious for 2 adults and 2 children + dog. The accommodation is nice and modern and is immaculate, the kitchen is well stocked for self catering. We were met on arrival by Nicky and Richard, who are really friendly, and within a couple of hours the kids were helping feeding the lambs! The location is lovely and quiet and we had great views from the hot tub.

Amazing place for a break. Very clean cottage, quality fittings, hot tub, lovely views, and dog friendly too. There was milk, eggs and home-made brownies when we arrived. Dark skies at night so loads of stars visible, worth bringing a telescope if you have one! Lots of places to visit in the area. There's really nothing I can think of that's bad. Will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the Cider Barn which is the largest of the 3 self contained and self catering accommodations and sleeps 6. It is a beautiful place to stay and somewhere you can throughly relax and enjoy and we made good use of the Hot tub that the Cider Barn has to offer
Sue, Roy and the family are very welcoming hosts.
We especially loved being able to walk round the farm and pet the goats, horses and sheep/lambs and even helped feed the lambs. They also have chickens, roosters and guinea fowl.
We also found the beautiful lake and fed the fish.
We will definitely be returning.
Thank you.

Fantastic location, excellent accommodation combined with hosts who can't do enough for you but at the same time are not intrusive. Secure grounds for our dog to roam freely around, not that he needs it but ideal those that do. Thank you to Roy and Sue

Lovely quiet working farm, lovely hosts, hot tub in the garden of the new looking Dairy house, great for kids with a swing and trampoline. Horse riding on site, beautiful views and most provisions provided. In the right season you can feed the farm animals. Not too far from the other suggested local attractions and good walking options. Highly recommended.

I would give it 10 stars if I could! Loved our stay here the most out of all the places I visited in the uk. It even beats any luxury hotels! We had a lovely welcome from the time we booked to the time we left by Sue and Roy. We got to feed the lambs and horses. We walked the dogs and we jumped on the trampoline like kids! The creamery large room we had was beautiful and provisions for everything we could have needed made available. A lovely large deck at the back leading to a private garden was welcome but guests have access to a lot of the grounds. The whole place is very clean and very well loved and looked after! The breakfast was more than delicious. My friend and I were in constant state of joy while staying here and even though we only stayed one night we had the most special country weekend ever. I am in love with Handley farm and I really hope I can come back soon!

We Stayed in the Cider Barn cottage for 3 nights in April. It compliments absolutely stunning views, with a highly upscaled modern kitchen, bed rooms, and log burner. The cottage is equipped with almost everything you need, very home from home! The 8 persons hot dub situated on the decking is a great way to relax whilst taking in the scenery around you. At the bottom of the long drive there are lakes for you to have a stroll around. There are sun loungers to relax on in the garden & a lovely patio set to eat/drink outside if you wish.
There is a small play area with a trampoline & swing for younger children.....or adults!
On the site there are two other cottages to rent along with the white farmhouse where the owners live Roy & Sue, who couldn't be more welcoming of their guests, making our stay more pleasurable. They offered for us to bottle feed their lambs and look around the farm, which we were thoroughly grateful of the lovely experience.
Sue makes complimentary fresh scones, jam & clotted cream on arrival, which were delicious, a lovely added touch.
Definitely reccommend!!!!
